Wooden Polishing and Painting for the World Peace Dome
Loni Kalbhor, Pune
Pooja Arts had the esteemed opportunity to contribute to the MIT World Peace University’s (MIT-WPU) World Peace Dome, located in Loni Kalbhor, Pune. This monumental structure, recognized as the world’s largest dome, stands as a testament to global harmony and intellectual unity.
The World Peace Dome is renowned for being the largest dome globally, with a diameter of 160 feet and a height of 263 feet. It serves as a World Peace Prayer Hall and houses a vast library, embodying the principles of unity and enlightenment. Our team at Pooja Arts was entrusted with enhancing the aesthetic and protective qualities of this iconic structure through meticulous interior and exterior painting and wood polishing services.
Interior Painting: The dome’s interior is adorned with intricate designs and statues of 54 eminent personalities who have contributed to humanity’s progress. Our painting work aimed to accentuate these features, creating an ambience that reflects the dome’s spiritual and educational significance.
Exterior Painting: Given the dome’s prominence and visibility, the exterior required a finish that withstands environmental factors while maintaining its grandeur. We utilized high-quality, weather-resistant paints to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
Wood Polishing: The dome incorporates wooden elements that add warmth and elegance to its architecture. Our team provided expert wood polishing services to enhance the natural beauty of these features and ensure they complement the overall design.
Our involvement in the World Peace Dome project reflects Pooja Arts’ dedication to excellence and our ability to contribute to structures of profound cultural and spiritual importance. By aligning our services with the dome’s themes of peace, unity, and knowledge, we played a role in bringing to life a space that inspires and enlightens all who visit.
